Local Election Information

All change starts small.

Participating in local elections is crucial now more than ever to ensure your voices are heard and our communities reflect the will of those who live here.
Keep in mind the issues we are facing in East TN when selecting your candidates!

Topics to consider that affect the Little River Watershed:

  • Population growth and infrastructure planning, is it sustainable and forward thinking?

  • Zoning and construction requirements

  • Resources management such as power and water (remember over 140,000 residents in the area drink straight from the Little River)

  • Social programs

  • Public school requirements

The counties in Little River Watershed have some big local elections coming up this spring.
Early voting for all counties will be held April 15th-30th and official election day is Tuesday, May 5th.

See below for information on Blount County, Knox County, and Sevier County Elections.

IMPORTANT: You must be registered to vote by April 6th, 2026 in order to vote in our upcoming local elections! Please visit https://sos.tn.gov/govotetn to verify your status and register to vote.
