Little River Community Day

  • River Johns Island (map)

We want to invite you, the friends and supporters of the Little River Watershed Association out to a laid back community day on the Little River at River John's Island on
Saturday, July 23rd from 11 AM - 8 PM

We want to open the invitation to the community that supports LRWA and our mission of protecting the Little River watershed, out to enjoy the day outdoors by the Little River. This is a special day to bring our community together and enjoy the perks of River John's Island, totally FREE!

Bring some food, drinks, and whatever you may want for the day. There will be a grill, a pavilion and portapotties on-site to use on the island, but please note, no dogs are allowed on the island for liability reasons.
The island will open at 11, and we will set off at 12PM sharp to do a paddle from the Sevierville Bridge back to the island. You are welcome to join us for the paddle, but we ask that you bring your own boat and way to shuttle yourself to the put-in and back to your car, but the island can be your landing spot!

You are also welcome to stay on the island and fish, swim, float in the river, play games, have or play music, or simply hang back and relax by the Little River.

Friends and family are welcome, but we ask that you fill out this form so we know how many people to expect.
