Join Keep Blount Beautiful, Little River Watershed Association, and Tuckaleechee Garden Club for an invasive species removal along the Townsend Riverwalk and Arboretum!

Parking is available for volunteers at Campground United Methodist Church, 7466 Old Tuckaleechee Road, Townsend (corner of 321 and Old Tuckaleechee Road).

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes/boots and long pants. Standard gloves and hand tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and tools if possible.

COVID-19 NOTE: Volunteers are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing during this event. Volunteers will be required to fill out a COVID-19 waiver before participating.
