2010 Winter Gala Auction Items Showcase
Our Winter Gala is always sure to showcase a variety of premier auction items. From several beautiful pieces of local art to getaways for 2-7 days to places from Pigeon Forge to Florida, we have it all! For the busy working mother, we have a gift certificate for home cleaning services and for the avid animal lovers we have pet grooming. We also have items, such as a digital picture frame and fine jewelry, that appeal to everyone!

Behind the scenes Tour of Tennessee State Capitol with Doug Overbey that includes: lunch in the Legislative Cafeteria, a gift basket, and a one night Romance package at the Doubletree Hotel
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park 75th Anniversary Rocking Chair is hand made by a 3rd generation craftsman of chairs. Randy Ogle constructed the rocker of solid maple and it has a hand woven seat. This extremely limited edition rocker is a reproduction of a rocker made by Aden Carver and housed in the National Park’s historical artifact collection. Just when it sounds like it couldn’t be anymore priceless, we are also throwing in a GSMNP throw blanket!

LRWA Announces 2010 Winter Gala
Once a year the Little River Watershed Association plans an evening of music, food, and fun in order to raise the necessary funds to support our mission. We invite the community to join us for an evening of heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, live music, as well as a live and silent auction. Auction items include local artisan pieces, mountain getaways for two, antiques, and personalized kayaking and fishing trips plus more! There will be plenty of great food, everything from tropical fruit and fresh vegetables to hardier servings of hand-carved roast beef. We truly have something for everyone, and it always promises to be a great night out on the town for our supporters!
The 2010 Winter Gala will be held on March 6, 6:00 P.M. at the Airport Hilton. The cost of a ticket is $75. Tickets can be purchased by mailing a check to our office or can be purchased at the door.
If you are interested in being an event host, the cost is $250 for a couple or $125 for a single ticket. Hosts are printed in the event publications and receive acknowledgments the night of. We are indebted to our hosts who pay a premium ticket price to guarantee a successful fundraiser. If you are interested in being a host, we have to have your R.S.V.P by January 25th in order to secure a place on the printed invitation.
